Evidence of Clubs and Groups: Evidence of clubs, groups, learning tasks, etc. that promote awareness and provide access to STEM professionals often under-represented in STEM fields.
Mountain View has several clubs, groups, and learning tasks designed to provide students with a well-rounded look into STEM fields that contain persons who are often under-represented. We have also asked members of our community to create 2-5 minute videos of the jobs and careers they go to daily. We are integrating the community into our classrooms during STEM lessons and speaking to students as guests of the classroom.
